Make Content Make Sense™

Your Content Shouldn't Feel Like Homework.

People don't stop reading because they don't care.

They stop because their brain checked out three pages ago.

Make Content Make Sense™ helps you identify the accessibility, readability and neuroinclusive barriers that quietly stop people engaging with your content.

Most Content Isn't Failing Because The Information Is Bad.

It's failing because the design is exhausting.

Tiny text.

Walls of information.

No breathing room.

No structure.

No thought about how actual humans consume information.

People are reading your content:

  • On a phone

  • While distracted

  • While overwhelmed

  • While their tea's going cold

And if your content is difficult to process, most people won't tell you.

They'll just stop reading.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

  • I review PDFs, workbooks, lead magnets, slide decks, digital resources, training materials and other content through the lens of accessibility, neuroinclusion and user experience.

You're not paying for a giant scary compliance audit.

You're paying for practical feedback that helps more people engage with the content you've already worked hard to create.

    Reviews Look At:

    Cognitive Load
Can people comfortably process the information?

    Readability
Fonts, spacing, layout, contrast, chunking and structure.

    Neuroinclusion
Does this work for different processing styles, attention spans and energy levels?

    Accessibility
Screen readers, navigation, visual clarity and assistive technology.

    Emotional Safety
Does the content reduce confusion and increase confidence?

What This Looks Like In Real Life.

I recently reviewed a lead magnet for brand photographer Haydn Brown.

The photography was strong.

The messaging was strong.

But several design choices were quietly creating barriers for a significant portion of the audience.

The review identified issues including readability, screen reader compatibility, colour contrast and formatting that could be improved without changing the personality of the document.

Why Work With Me?

I've spent more than 20 years working across education, learning, workforce development and leadership.

I'm a qualified teacher, an accessibility and neuroinclusion specialist, and I've spent thousands of hours helping people learn, engage with information and navigate environments that weren't designed with them in mind.

I've also got ADHD and dyspraxia.

Which means I've personally experienced the difference between content that works with your brain and content that feels like wading through soup.

Turns out "just make the font smaller so it fits" isn't always the answer.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

Your Questions, Answered

  • PDFs, lead magnets, guides, workbooks, slide decks, training materials and other digital resources people need to read, learn from or engage with.

If you're unsure whether something is suitable, just ask.

  • No.

Most reviews identify a handful of changes that will have the biggest impact first.

The goal isn't to start again. It's to make what you've already created easier to engage with.

  • Not in the traditional sense.

This is a practical review that looks at accessibility, neuroinclusion, readability, cognitive load and user experience together.

  • Yes.

You'll receive clear feedback, practical recommendations and priority actions so you know what to tackle first.

No waffle. No judgement. No 47-page report designed to finish you off emotionally.

  • No.

I've worked with business owners, trainers, coaches, consultants, educators, charities and community organisations.

If you've created content that people need to read, learn from or engage with, I can help.

  • Timescales depend on the size and complexity of the content.

We'll agree the scope and turnaround before any work begins, so you'll know exactly what to expect.

Stop Losing People To Bad Formatting.

People can't learn from, buy from or engage with content they've given up reading.

Let's make sure the effort you've put into creating it isn't being undone by avoidable barriers.
